Skyla Schreter

LotusWorks Founder the GYROTONIC® Method Dance & Creative Movement

Originally from New York, Skyla Schreter is an accomplished artist, teacher and movement practitioner. She co-founded LotusWorks Gallery with her partner Aaron Sanders in 2021, and is the Founder and Director of Wellness at LotusWorks. Having honed her skills as a professional ballet dancer for seven years with the San Francisco Ballet, Skyla's artistic journey has evolved to encompass renowned choreography and multidisciplinary creative production, garnering accolades through prestigious commissions and acclaimed film festivals. In addition to developing her body of choreographic work, Skyla is a Professor of Dance at Vassar College.

Following her retirement from the stage as a full-time professional dancer, she suffered a debilitating back injury, which led her to embrace the transformative power of the GYROTONIC method. As a certified GYROTONIC instructor under the esteemed guidance of Siobhan Roberts, Billy Macagnone, and Patricia Stewart, she now exclusively offers private sessions at LotusWorks, guiding individuals on their holistic healing and wellness journeys.

Zoe Thomas

Director of Pilates at LotusWorks • Pilates Mat • Holistic Movement Practices

Zoe Alexandra Thomas is an experienced Pilates instructor, dancer, and movement enthusiast. Zoe holds a degree from Goucher College in Dance Performance & Arts Administration and is currently pursuing her Masters in Corrective Exercise and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. Additionally, Zoe completed both her Pilates Certification at Balanced Pilates and her Bridge Pilates Certification at Erika Bloom Pilates.

Francesca Jacks

Yoga

Francesca Jacks is an RYT-200 yoga alliance certified teacher with a passion for bringing yoga to all. As a mother of two small children, she understands the necessity of taking time to reconnect to the self and provides a warm and loving environment to nurture the mind-body connection. She completed her teacher training on beautiful Cape Cod and when she's not teaching she enjoys hiking, gardening, knitting and spending time with her family.

Kyra Auffermann

Yoga

Practicing for over a decade, Kyra is 500 hr RYT certified through BeBhakti in Beacon, NY. Her approach draws on Vinyasa, Hatha, and Katonah traditions, while incorporating elements including polyvagal theory, fascia release, and guided meditation. A graduate of Boston College with a BA in creative writing and philosophy, Kyra also works as a digital designer, editor, and writer. In her spare time, she enjoys perusing used bookstores, eating good pizza, and appreciating petrichor.

Amy Doermann

Yoga

A lifelong athlete turned movement instructor, Amy has practiced yoga for 13 years. She has completed 50 hours of training with Katonah Yoga and Sky Ting yoga. She will achieve her 200 hour teaching certificate through Sky Ting in December 2023 with the goal of becoming a Katonah Yoga master trainer. Amy is also a Native herbalist. Oglala Lakota & Sioux - her grandmother grew up on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. She holds her 1,000hr studies certificate through the Chestnut School of Herbal medicine and is currently enrolled in Wintergreen Botanicals’ 2023 Advanced Herbalism program.

Amy explores the intersection of movement and magic by infusing her classes with plant rituals and moves that we can do any time we need a moment of support as we navigate the world. 

Sara Hart

Yoga Five Elements Workshop

Sara Hart is a certified yoga teacher (YTT500) and offers Hatha Yoga classes, workshops, and retreats focused on the Ayurvedic principles of wellness and self care since 2010. When not teaching Sara creates fine art photography and mixed media woods sculptures.

Drew Campbell

Andrew Campbell is a certified audio professional, registered sound therapist and shamanic healer offering one-on-one and group sessions.
